Dental Fillings 

Dental fillings are one of the staple crafts of every dentists as we help many people get their natural smile back with fillings. When a cavity is discovered after the preliminary exams restoration appointments will be scheduled to fill in the pre-existing cavities. The procedure aims to preserve your tooth by first removing the cavity by scraping away at the already decayed enamel/dentin. Once the decay has been sufficiently removed different filling materials can be used to fill in the hole. For example: composite is at type of material mimics the structure of the tooth when combined with blue ultraviolet light hardens it to seal off the hole. You or the dentist can select the color of the composite that best suits the surrounding enamel. To finally top it off excess material is removed and the rest is smoothened and polished.
